Creating a Bluetooth Serial Port on Windows XP with the Widcomm Bluetooth stack
Right-click on the Bluetooth icon on the Windows tray:
then click on Advanced Configuration and select the Local Services tab:
If there is a Bluetooth Serial port already defined here, you should be able to use that. Otherwise or if you want to create an additional serial port, click on Add Serial Service.
After a few seconds, the new Bluetooth port properties window should appear:
Check the Startup Automatically checkbox and press OK. Your new Bluetooth port should now appear in the Local Services list:
