Why doesn't my Bluetooth virtual serial port show up?

Sometimes, even after a Bluetooth serial port has been set up properly, it may not be visible.

This can occur on piAccess Link's connection feature, or on the computer-side application. Here are some common things to check.

All systems

Make sure that your phone's Bluetooth feature is turned on and that the phone and the computer are paired.

If using piAccess Link, make sure it is running and that it has finished scanning the messages and it is ready to accept connections.

The Windows-side application must be started first.
