The SIS is installable, but does not work on 7650

Description

The currently available version of the s60 SIS file can be installed even on very old devices (like the 7650) without any message, but a "System Error!" message appears when the application is launched. There's actually a plan to support these older phones in the future , or simply the minimum OS version is not set correcly in the SIS file?

Older phones like the 7650 are not supported by piAccess Link. Currently there is no plan to support them in the future.

I understand that supporting S60 1st edition is probably not worth the effort (ofcourse I'd buy instantly a 7650 version)

A s60 2nd edition platform id should be stated in the .pkg file -- (0x101F7960), 0, 0, 0, {"Series60ProductID"} to disable installation to unsupported devices...

The platform ID used in the pkg file is (0x101F6F88), 0, 0, 0, {"Series60ProductID"} but that does not prohibit installation to unsupported devices. It seems that the error is when you try to run tha app.

The platform ID you used is the one for S60 1st edition (0.9). With that platform ID, the SIS can be installed on ANY device, as it is the oldest platform in existence.
