SMS list retrieval messed up

I have just bought the piaccess Link product so i could back up my SMS list from a Nokia 6600... but when i download the message list from the phone, i get a list that is totally messed up towards the end... message from one user are listed as coming from someone else... Obviously this makes the product unusable for my purposes :-(

I am using MegaCellX v 2.6.1 vith Link 1-1

Federico hi,

This seems to be a very weird bug in MCX, that we've seen once before on Panther. The same instance o Link works fine if you try to retrieve your messages manualy by using ZTerm for example (and issueing the correct commands) or if you use FMA.

Could you please tell us how many messages you are trying to retrieve?

Which version of Mac OS X do you use?

Is it that you are seeing some messages from your 'Sent' folder appearing as 'received' and vice versa, where the actual names of the recipients do not correspond to the body of the SMS, as shown in your 6600?

This sounds similar to the problem I reported 3 days ago:

I've successfully made my N70 and MacBook?? Pro connect and talk to each other using piAccess Link 1.1 and MegaCell?? X v2.6.1 I can load all my SMS messages into MegaCell?? but the cntact names and numbers do not correspond to the messages. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm using MacOS 10.4.7. The phone has some 800 meassages on it.

Hi there again, we have contacted MCX's developer to debug this. I am sure that he will need some logs. will you be able to provide them for him to debug this ?
